Back to School Backpack Drive: In-Person Warehouse Volunteering

Join us for an opportunity to help support the Family Giving Tree’s back-to-school backpack drive. The Family Giving Tree is a Bay Area non-profit organization that has been granting wishes for joy and learning to over 2 million children and families since 1990. Since its launch in 1995, the Family Giving Tree’s back-to-school backpack drive has been on a mission to bridge the educational gap for K-12 students. Through the community of volunteers, the Family Giving Tree will be working to collect and distribute 30,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to students whose families struggle to provide even the basic tools needed for school.

Please note: This is an in-person volunteer opportunity at the Family Giving Tree’s distribution warehouse in Sunnyvale, CA. Volunteers will have the opportunity to help sort, fill, and/or distribute back-to-school backpacks. It’s a great opportunity to follow the journey of the backpacks and see where all the magic happens in the Family Giving Tree warehouse.
