Virtual Giving Tree - Back-to-School Backpack Drive

Join us for an opportunity to help support the Family Giving Tree’s back-to-school backpack drive The Family Giving Tree is a Bay Area non-profit organization that has been granting wishes for joy and learning to over 2 million children and families since 1990. Since its launch in 1995, the Family Giving Tree’s back-to-school backpack drive has been on a mission to bridge the educational gap for K-12 students. Through the community of volunteers, the Family Giving Tree will be working to collect and distribute 30,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to students whose families struggle to provide even the basic tools needed for school. 

Let’s get involved and help bring equity into our community’s classrooms. By participating in this virtual drive, you will be supporting students in need by providing essential school supplies to ensure they are well-prepared for the academic year. 

All employees can participate in the Virtual Giving Tree (VGT) back-to-school backpack drive, no matter your office or home work location. This is a great option for those who are not able to contribute or participate in person but would like to still help make a difference through our VGT option. Help make a direct impact by selecting back-to-school items through our Freshworks VGT store online to donate to students and/or classrooms in need.
